As you may now be aware, there are only about 5-7 students registered in this EN101 class (and most are final year native speaking students). Therefore I think it is unwise to proceed with the contents of my original syllabus as it is aimed at first year non-native speaking students. Therefore I will change the structure of the course. Please see the date details above for the day/days you have to come into university, and those in which you do not.
1. The final exam will be based on the following chapters listed below.
2. You will be expected to prepare an individual presentation based on the slides below (5-7 minutes each)
3. You will write a course assignment
Grading
1. Final exam 30% (To take place on August 24th)
2. Presentation 30% (To take place on August 24th)
3. Course assignment 40% (To be handed in on Saturday August 24th)
Please spread the word to your classmates to check here, as I do not have direct contact with who is in the class.

Course book for chapters from final exam in electronic format (paper book can be picked up from the office)
2. Presentation Information
- Your group must create a 5-7 minute presentation based on a topic from the presentation slides below.
- Choose a topic that you can introduce a lot of information on and be interesting about. You can choose a topic from class and expand it and go into more detail on it
- You should work individually on this presentation.
- Scoring system:
-Relevance (10 marks)
-Presentation Skills (10 marks)
