In today's class we:
- Went through quiz 1
- Did another mind-mapping exercise
- Looked at structure of argumentative essays v discursive essays (see slides below)
- Did a counter argument analysis exercise based on Japan's falling birthrate
- Looked at facts v opinions on p23 of the course book (pointless exercise!)
- Worked in our groups on the assignment (we should be finishing the hook, definition of key terms and working on the thesis statement by now)
