- Discussed the video exercise from the previous class
- Looked at syllables and different rules of syllables
- Analysed primary stress in words

- Did exercises 21.1-21.2, 21.5
- Did exercises 22.1-22.3
- Did an exercise about finding the primary stress of a word (see below)
- Looked at a very interesting fact about English being the biggest language in the dictionary
- Did an exercise creating our own new word with definition (but following basic syllable rules)
- We looked at 2 new monopthongs /e/ (bed, leg) and /iː/ (meat, leave)
- Did an exercise separating different words into the correct categories of their vowel sound
- Did exercises 6.1-6.3
