In today's class we:
- Went through the course rules
- Signed up for the class
- Confirmed the class dates
- Introduced the basics of Argumentative Writing (see slide below)
- Talked about advantages of mind maps
- Looked at how to do a mind map.
- Set the course assignment:
-Abortion should be illegal
- Organised the groups
- Looked at hooks (what they are, types of hook and which are easiest to use)
- Spent time in our groups looking at hooks for the chosen assignment
