-Sociologists are the people who study sociology.
-Sociologists use research and analysis “sociological theory”
- Discussed social forces. Social forces are any man-made way of doing something that influences, pressures or forces someone to behave in a certain way
- Did an exercise thinking about various social forces within Thai society. We then discussed it in class
- Did an exercise based on watching a documentary called 'Living With The Amish':
- Please consider the social forces in the 2 different
cultures (outside v inside).
- Make a list of any interesting differences and contrasts
between the two.
- Make a note of any other interesting sociological things
that you notice and prepare to discuss it in the next class
