Learning apps (Strongly recommended)
Anki - http://ankisrs.net/ (go to 'Get Shared Decks' to download many free courses)
Memrise - https://www.memrise.com/
Both are available online or as an app for your phone. I strongly recommend both for learning. It will probably be a great decision in your long term learning. It will strongly increase your language learning ability over time.

Presentation FAQS
WHICH SOFTWARE DO YOU RECOMMEND FOR PRESENTATIONS?
Any form of software is acceptable if used well. Personally I find Prezi to be very effective (download it onto a pen drive after it is finished to be safe). More recommended websites for creating presentations are listed below.
IS THERE ANYTHING WE SHOULD AVOID DURING PRESENTATIONS?
-More than just a few key words being on a slide at any one point in time
-YouTube videos to fill in time
-Reading off paper
-Not presenting for the recommended amount of time

DO YOU HAVE ANY TIPS ON HOW TO IMPROVE AT PRESENTATIONS?
-Practice, practice, practice (at least 2-3 times beforehand)
-Use notes as a reference guide (keep the notes on a small piece of paper in your hand)
-Look up, around and to the back of the room at different points during the presentation
-Make eye contact with different people in the room
-Take deep breaths to try and stay calm throughout
-Try to talk at a calm regular pace
-Oh and remember....practice, practice, practice!

ANY FINAL TIPS?
The key word is 'PRESENTation'. It is not meant to be a READing. React to situations in the room, and try to be natural.

Student References
I am often asked to write references for students either for academic exchange programmes, future degrees or further career opportunities. I will only write references for students who excel in class and/or stand out. I will not write references for everyone. Whether I write a reference for you is determined by your hard work, creativity, effort, respect and general behaviour during courses. Please consider this when studying with me.

Rainy Season and Attendance
As you know the rainy season is unpredictable. I will make every effort to get to class on time, but on the odd occasion that a storm prevents me from being able to leave my house, I may be slightly late. I will extend attendance sign-in times on any day where there is a serious storm in the morning, so please do not place yourself in any danger in attempting to come to class in a storm.
